Why You Need to be Different.

Society and the media has conditioned us to be, act, talk, work and especially look a certain way. While there may be good intentions, we’re slowly losing our individuality as we try to reach these ideals and standards.

We’re losing sight of our true selves. And that’s not good at all.

The world doesn’t need more of the same type of people.

No thank you.

The world needs YOU. The unique individual as you are right now. It doesn’t matter if you don’t look a certain way or think you’re not good enough or think you have to be something that you’re not. You have something that others don’t.

Even as you observe artists and singers on the top of the charts, you’ll realise they each have their own unique individuality – be it their vocal ability, image, songwriting ability, etc.

It’s what makes them stand out and people who stand out are usually the ones who make it big and make a difference.

Be different and be original.

You don’t even have to do much. All you have to do is just be yourself.

Embrace your quirks and own them.
Be unapologetic about who you are as an individual.
Never lose sight of who you are and what you stand for.
Be who you were meant to be all along, and be fearless about it.

You contribute the most when you’re being yourself, be it in your work or your relationships with others.

Life is too short to try to fit in.
Life is too short to try and be somebody you’re not.
Forget all that and be the best you that you can be.
Life is a lot more fun and rewarding that way.

Drop the act and be you.
