Positive Energy.

Wherever you go.
Whatever you do.
Whoever you meet.

Be a source of positive energy.

Compliment freely.
Praise sincerely.
Smile genuinely.

It doesn’t take much to smile, give a thumbs up or say a “looking good” comment to someone and brighten their day.

Radiate positive energy.

Sleep Better.

Are you plagued with insomnia?

If you are, here are a couple of things you can try when you’re lying on the bed (don’t do all of them at once though):

  1. Mentally count your inhales and exhales until you fall asleep
  2. Mentally count to 1000 and see how far you can go before you fall asleep
  3. Play calming music
  4. Watch a boring video
  5. Read

These activities will help you take your mind off your thoughts while calming you down.

Give it a shot and try each of them on different nights.

Other things you can try throughout the day:

  1. Take a melatonin supplement
  2. Exhaust yourself by exercising and moving more during the day

You just might find a technique that really helps you sleep better.

“Insomnia sharpens your math skills because you spend all night calculating how much sleep you’ll get if you’re able to fall asleep right now.”

Keeping Up With The Times.

Trends change.
Technologies change.
Heck, even people change.

Let this post be a reminder for you to constantly be updated and adaptive to changes.

Embrace them.
Adapt to them.
Adopt them wherever you see fit.

Keep up with the times or we risk being left behind.

“It is not the most strongest or the most intelligent who will survive but those who can best manage change.”
– Charles Darwin

Managing Pain.

Pain is the body’s way of letting you know that something’s not going quite right.

So if you’re experiencing some type of chronic pain like a headache or migraine, take a step back and take your foot off the pedal.

Take a moment to reflect.

Are you getting enough quality sleep?
Are you drinking enough water?
Are you exercising enough?
Are you exercising too much?
How’s your diet been?
Are you thinking too much?

Some of these could be contributing to the pain you’re experiencing, assuming that you don’t have any underlying medical conditions.

“Chronic pain is not all about the body, and it’s not all about the brain – it’s everything. Target everything. Take back your life.”
– Sean Mackey
