Time.

We all have the same 24 hours a day. You, your colleagues, your boss, your role models in life and me.

We only get 24 hours to live our lives every single day and the most important question we don’t ask ourselves enough is,

“What do you do with your 24 hours?”

How do you spend your time every single day?

Are you filling up your time with things that bring you closer to your goals, dreams and ambitions? Or are you doing things that bring no value to your life?

Honestly assess what you do every day and see what your daily routine is like. Would a successful person adopt my routine? Or does my routine resemble that of a couch potato?

Ask yourself how much you’re worth right now. Always seek to add value to your life over time, because only then will you be a valuable person in the eyes of others. And valuable people will always be relevant and wanted.

It’s what makes the difference between Oprah and a desk clerk working a 9-5 job.

Maximize the time you have and fill it up with meaningful activities – activities that help you grow, learn and add value to your life.

If you’re someone who watches television and plays video games the whole day, your life is going to reflect that. If you’re someone who eats clean healthy foods and goes to the gym 3 times a week, your life is going to reflect that. If you’re someone who starts the day by waking up at 4am, your life is going to reflect that.

What we do every day will determine who we will become. Only time can judge and separate the winners from the losers.

  1. I agree with mostly all of this except the losers and winners part at the end. Hehe. I believe the way we think influences our everyday too. and if we consider people as losers, well- it doesn’t seem like a word that gives people a chance. Those ‘losers’ can be in a phase or state of their life where they are trying, where there attempts may look like nothing to us. yet we don’t know where they are coming from. may we be gentle in this approach 🙂

    1. Yes thank you for your insightful words! I think I was bit vague when I ended off on that note. My apologies!

I’ve always believed that as long as you have the right mentality and attitude, you’ll always be a winner regardless of what the outcome is. You’re a winner because you have a really solid foundation in life. Let’s put that there.

To me, a loser is simply someone who just doesn’t care about getting better, or doing anything to achieve their dreams and they’re just complaining and whining. They don’t even try. And I personally know some people who are like that. If they’re trying, I don’t see them as losers at all. Period.

I know it’s harsh to term or label someone as a loser but the harsh truth is, that’s just what they’re showing through their daily actions and negative behaviour. They’re losing out on life because they’re not really making full use of the 24 hours that we’ve all been given.

That’s what I really meant from the ending there and I really appreciate you taking the time to point that out.
