We all have fears.
Be it a fear of clowns, the dark, height, or even holes.
But I’m here to tell you that you can overcome these fears and it doesn’t have to be a traumatising experience along the way.
All you need is repeated exposure to your fear.
Every single day, be exposed to your fear until it becomes normal. I know the idea of having to face your fears every day sounds really scary but eventually, you’ll feel a lot better.
Bit by bit you’ll soon start to realise the fear disappear and dissipate.
So say you have a fear of being in total darkness.
Every single day, put yourself in a completely dark room or environment for just 5 seconds.
Eventually 5 seconds will feel like nothing. If so, then increase the duration from 5 to 10 seconds.
Rinse and repeat the process until you’re no longer afraid of the dark.
It’s the same with weightlifting and building muscles. Say you just started lifting 10kg for dumbbell curls. Your body is going to build muscle because it’s a new exercise and it has to adapt to the stress of the weights. But do it over and over again for a month and the body would have already adapted to the exercise, meaning that there’s no more potential for muscle growth unless a heavier weight is used.
Just be consistent with it, increase the volume of exposure and the rest will take care of itself.
seems like such an easy formula! just need the dedication myself!

Yes definitely! There’s always light at the end of every tunnel, especially so if you’re constantly working to get out of that tunnel.
